Meet The Press, Part Deux: aka, how Heffenrecker at The BizCourier dishes the voodoo he does on you

Posted in Cincinnati Media on 12/09/2010 by TheWritingFiend@Large

Joe Hoffecker is the Guru of Marketing and Circulation at The http://www.CincinnatiBusinessCourier.com – and has since he joined the paper in 1987, at the tender age of 4 (child labor laws did not go into effect in Cincinnati until the mid-1990s, or thereabouts).

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the inner workings of the Marketing and Circulation Departments at the Cincinnati Bible of Business News.

And if you’re in Kenwood tomorrow, introduce yourself to Joe at The Business Courier‘s “Grow Your Business With the Courier” event at the Cincinnati Bell store inside the Jos. A. Bank Centre on Kenwood Road, 7:30-9 a.m.

Joe Heffenrekkir, Director of Marketing, Cincinnati Business Courier.

Oh …. one other thing …. Mr. Hiffenstacker is also an award-winning editorial cartoonist.

All those hilarious/biting/insightful cartoons you’ve been seeing in The Courier for all these years?

Yeah, that’s Joe.

Or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

He’s also a serial enthusiast/drum pumper with The Zinzinnati Bierband. Look for him at the Harvest Home ParadeOktoberfest, any Cincinnati Reds home game or in Sayler Park - or taking care of his beautiful daughters along The Banks of The Mighty Ohio.

Meet The Press, Pt. 1 ~ aka, ‘Grow Your Business with the BizCourier’ ~ with Editor Rob Daumeyer tomorrow in Kenwood

Posted in Cincinnati Media on 12/09/2010 by TheWritingFiend@Large

How often do you get a personal tour of the http://www.CincinnatiBusinessCourier.com from its own Editor, Rob Daumeyer?

Tomorrow’s “Meet The Press” event – officially known as “Grow Your Business With the Courier” – is at the Cincinnati Bell store in the Jos. A. Bank Centre, Kenwood, 7565 Kenwood Road.

The official tagline: “Join us for business-to-business networking with fellow readers and hear from editor Rob Daumeyer on how to use the news the Courier provides in various formats to grow your business.”

BizCourier Editor Rob Daumeyer at August "Meet The Editors" event.

Unofficially, there is no better way to explore the many ways to get your business in The Cincinnati Business Courier.

Mr. Daumeyer takes guests on a hand-held tour through the actual paper this week, providing:

- insights into their coverage;

- tips on getting yourself, and your companyin the news; and

- how/why reporters/editors like to be contacted.

The gig runs from 7:30-9 a.m. and costs a measly $10. For those looking at a cost/benefit analysis, there is no better value for your media dollars than the “Meet The Press” – er, “Growing Your Business With The Courer” event. Unfortunately, tomorrow’s event is sold-out.

Mr. Daumeyer will be joined by his Business Courier colleague, Marketing Director Joe Hoffecker.

To contact Mr. Daumeyer, please call (513) 621-6665 or send Rob an e-mail at rdaumeyer@bizjournals.com.

Mr. Hoffecker can be reached at the same number, and/or at jhoffecker@bizjournals.com.
